Porcelain Shanghai Dry Gin

Porcelain Distillery works in small batches in China, and the bottle is half the story: handmade porcelain, decorated in fine detail, nodding to Shanghai's cultural heritage. Inside is a London Dry at heart, given an oriental turn. Hand-picked botanicals include juniper, angelica root and coriander seed alongside Chinese sweet orange peel, lotus blossom, jasmine, lavender and mandarin, distilled gently to protect the essential oils and the delicate aromatics they carry.

The nose is fresh, floral and citrus-lifted, lotus and jasmine over orange and gentle juniper spice. The palate is elegant and balanced, fresh citrus and floral nuances threaded with subtle spice and a fine herbal note, closing long and lightly spiced with a lingering floral-citrus freshness. Build it into a gin and tonic with a mildly floral tonic and a strip of mandarin peel, or stir a delicate Dry Martini.
