Porcelain Shanghai Mandarin Dry Gin

This edition of Porcelain Shanghai puts the mandarin centre stage, a fruit that signals luck and prosperity in Chinese tradition. Made in small batches and presented in the brand's hand-decorated porcelain bottle, it builds on the house dry-gin character with a select botanical blend: juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, sweet orange peel, lotus blossom, jasmine and lavender. Gentle distillation keeps the delicate essential oils intact and holds citrus, blossom and spice in balance.

The nose is expressive, intense mandarin and orange over jasmine and fresh herbs. The palate is fruity and soft, a dominant mandarin sweetness carried on fresh citrus, fine juniper spice and floral accents, before a long, mild finish with a tangerine freshness and a floral, spiced echo.
