Ripe orange and bright citrus meet a gentle Old Tom sweetness, with a peppery flick stirred through the finish. Distilled in copper then cold-infused with botanicals rather than redistilled, it nods to Prohibition-era bathtub gins while staying anything but rough. Fruity, rounded and just sweet enough to charm.

Description
Bathtub Gin takes its name from the Prohibition years, when home distillers steeped juniper and spice in whatever spirit they could find, leaving it for days in the bath to soften the harshness. Ableforth's, the bottlers behind it, turn that scrappy idea into something refined: a copper-distilled base is then cold-infused with botanicals so the citrus and spice stay vivid, and a touch of sweetness gives it the Old Tom character. The distillery was named UK Gin Producer of the Year at the 2019 International Wine & Spirit Competition.
The nose is fruity and sweet with notes of citrus peel. On the palate the Old Tom sugar rounds out juniper and a clear thread of orange, full and gently rich, before a long finish closes with a hint of black pepper. It makes a generous Tom Collins, or a Martinez where its sweetness can play against vermouth.
