Sharp lime zest up front, juniper close behind, and a peppery rattle of pink peppercorn through the middle. Distilled at the Port of Leith and named for Dr James Lind, who linked limes to a scurvy cure, it carries its maritime history lightly. Crisp, dry and made for a gimlet.

Description
Lind & Lime is hand-distilled at the Port of Leith Distillery in Edinburgh, its name a nod to Dr James Lind, the 18th-century naval surgeon who first connected citrus to the cure for scurvy. The gin keeps faith with that story through a London Dry recipe built on fresh lime peel and pink peppercorns alongside the juniper, distilled to a notably clean, bright profile at a confident 44%.
The nose is all fresh lime zest, subtle juniper and a fine peppery edge. The palate is balanced and elegant, citrus dominant with juniper and spicy pink pepper just behind, before a long, dry, lightly spicy finish that stays refreshing. It shines in a gimlet, but a slice of lime and a good Indian tonic will do it proud just as easily.
