Neisson Straight From The Barrel Bio No. 661 2020 comes from one of Martinique's most respected family distilleries, here in an organic bottling from a 2020 harvest. Distilled from fresh-pressed cane juice under the island's AOC, it is a single cask drawn from ex-bourbon wood.
Bottled straight from the barrel at full strength of 56.5%, this is a young, intense agricole. Expect the grassy, vegetal cane core of Neisson carried at high proof, with vanilla and toasted oak from the barrel and the snap of fresh cane underneath. A little water will soften it. A vivid, dry organic rum for those who like agricole bold and unvarnished.
