Description

Mabi Melon is a flavoured rum from Guadeloupe, built on a column-distilled agricole base of fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice rather than molasses. Following the French arrange tradition, it is steeped with melon for a sweet, fragrant summer character.

Bottled at 34%, it sits in the soft, sweetened liqueur register rather than as a dry spirit, so expect juicy, perfumed melon to lead over the grassy cane base. Serve it well chilled or over ice as a refreshing aperitif, or splash it into sparkling and tropical drinks.
