Description

RomDeluxe bottled this single cask of Hampden's DOK mark, the highest ester recipe Jamaica produces, distilled in Trelawny in 2021 and left unaged. The RomDeluxe Wild Series is known for very strong single cask funk bombs, and at 85.6% this is about as intense as bottled rum gets.

DOK sits at the legal ceiling, so this is funk turned all the way up: explosive pineapple, overripe banana and strawberry riding a wave of glue and solvent, with a finish that simply does not stop. Distilled on Hampden's double retort pot stills from long, wild fermented molasses and bottled unsweetened, it is a flavouring strength spirit at heart, made for drinkers who chase the extreme. Handle it in tiny measures, with water, or build it into a power cocktail; this is not a casual sipper.
