Isautier Arhumatik Coco

Isautier is a long-established Reunion distillery, and this Arhumatik Coco is part of its flavoured range rather than a straight rum, a coconut liqueur built on the house molasses-based spirit and sweetened for easy drinking.

At 24% it is gentle and soft, with sweet coconut on the nose and a velvety, sweet coconut palate that carries through to a creamy finish. The coconut flavour is pronounced and authentic, which makes it as useful in the kitchen, folded into a coconut cake or dessert, as it is over ice or in a tropical cocktail. This is firmly a sweet, flavoured pour, so it should be enjoyed for what it is, a soft coconut treat, rather than mistaken for a dry sipping rum.
