Description

Breiz'ile Collection Coco Vanille is a flavoured rum from the Brittany house Breiz'ile, built on a column-distilled agricole base of fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice rather than molasses. As the name promises, it is steeped with coconut and vanilla, the French arrange tradition of macerating flavouring in cane spirit.

At 32% it sits in liqueur territory, soft and sweet rather than dry, so expect the rounded coconut and vanilla to lead while the grassy agricole character sits underneath. This is an easy after-dinner pour or a base for long tropical drinks, not a neat Ti Punch spirit.
