Labourdonnais is an estate on Mauritius, where the rum is distilled from fresh sugar cane juice in the agricole manner even though the protected term belongs to the French islands. This Calamondine bottling is a flavoured expression built around the calamondin, a small tart citrus, on a column-still base at a modest 37.5%.

The profile is led by bright, zesty citrus over a sweet foundation, with a peppery twist adding a little bite to the finish.
