Description
Ron Perla del Norte Carta Oro is a Cuban rum in the island's signature light style, distilled on a column still from molasses and blended for cleanliness. Cuba is the home of ron ligero, the crisp, charcoal-mellowed spirit that underpins the daiquiri and mojito.
A Carta Oro sits at the gold tier, lightly coloured and gently oaked rather than deeply aged. Expect a soft, approachable pour with light vanilla and a clean cane character at 40%. It is as much a cocktail rum as a sipper, true to the Cuban tradition of lightness and balance. Added sugar is not disclosed for this release.
