La Thibault Courville Blanc

This is a blanc agricole carrying the Courville name from La Thibault on Martinique, distilled from fresh pressed sugar cane juice on the island's rum AOC. As an unaged white, it is bottled clear and close to the still, the purest expression of the cane.

Martinique blancs are built on freshness and snap, the grassy, herbaceous, peppery character of fresh cane juice with a dry, saline edge. At 45 percent this sits at a sociable strength for a white agricole, the traditional base for a Ti Punch with lime and a little cane syrup. A straightforward, unsweetened cane spirit made for mixing in the island style.
