Wray & Nephew White Overproof is the most recognised white rum in Jamaica and dominates the island's overproof market. Produced by J. Wray & Nephew, the company behind Appleton Estate, it blends pot and column still rum, left unaged so nothing stands between the drinker and the raw distillate, and bottled at a blistering 63%.

Unsweetened and unfiltered of character, it leads with overripe tropical fruit, banana and the solventy, estery funk that defines Jamaican pot still rum, finishing vegetal, grassy and peppery with plenty of heat. This is a rum built for mixing rather than neat sipping, the classic base for the Mai Tai, the Daiquiri and the local Wray and Ting, where its intensity cuts cleanly through citrus and sweetness.
