Neisson Tatanka Le Carbet 2011 is a Martinique rhum agricole from the small Neisson family distillery at Le Carbet, distilled from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. Part of the collectible Tatanka series, this is a 2011 vintage that, despite its years, retains a vivid, youthful freshness more typical of a white rum than a long-aged one.

The profile stays green and lively: sugarcane, herbs and a vegetal edge on the nose, then the same herbaceous cane character on the palate lifted by bright mandarin, finishing on sugarcane, meringue and grapefruit. The Neisson house quality runs through it, the spirit feeling more like an expressive aged blanc than a wood-heavy vieux. Dry and aromatic at 46%, it suits drinkers who want the grassy snap of agricole carried by the depth of some age, equally rewarding neat or in a more spirit-forward stirred drink.
