ReimonenQ Coeur de Distillation – Centenaire

ReimonenQ is a traditional Guadeloupe distillery, and its Coeur de Distillation Centenaire marks the house's hundredth anniversary, a blanc rested for over a year in stainless steel vats rather than oak before bottling. Made under Guadeloupe's IGP, it is cane-juice rum showing its character without barrel influence.

Distilled from fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice on a column still and bottled at 50%, it leans into the earthier, more mineral side of the style rather than pure grassy brightness. The nose is mineral and earthy with fruity and vegetal notes, while the palate turns round and peppery with a smoky edge. The finish stays woody and vegetal with fruit lingering. This is a savoury, terroir-driven white whose earthy character defines it, a distinctive Guadeloupe blanc for drinkers who like their agricole rugged and mineral, and a sturdy base for a Ti' Punch.
