Trois Rivières Rhum Blanc Agricole Premium

Trois Rivières is a Martinique estate with roots back to 1660, its rum now distilled at the La Mauny site. This entry-level blanc is the workhorse of the range, pressed from fresh sugar cane juice and bottled unsweetened at an accessible 40%.

Distilled low on the column still to retain the green, vegetal congeners, it offers the classic blanc signature: clean sugarcane and citrus, pink grapefruit, capers and green olive, with a light earthy thread. The palate stays fruity and vegetal, dry through to a fresh papaya finish. This is a straightforward, honest expression rather than a deep one, and that is the point. It delivers real cane character, olives and citrus in a soft, affordable format that shines in budget Ti Punch and easy mixing without asking much of the drinker.
