This 7 year old comes from Trinidad Distillers, the Angostura group's column-still distillery and the source of the famous bitters. Trinidad sits in the lighter Spanish-heritage idiom, with continuous distillation to a clean, high strength giving a soft, fragrant rum built for easy drinking rather than weight or funk.

Made from Trinidadian molasses and aged in ex-bourbon oak, it pours soft and caramel-forward. The nose carries caramel, vanilla, wood and toffee, while the palate brings raisin, caramel and milk chocolate with a faint whisky-like note, finishing sweet, fruity and lightly spiced.
