Trois Rivières Finish Collection Teeling

Trois Rivieres is a historic Martinique estate, now distilled at the La Mauny site, and this Finish Collection bottling takes its cane juice agricole and finishes it in a Teeling whisky cask, bottled at 43%. Pressed from fresh cane rather than molasses, it is a crossover release for drinkers curious about what whisky oak brings to agricole.

The whisky finish leaves a clear mark: a nose turned toward whisky, wood, spice, dried fruit and floral notes, a palate of whisky, wood, floral and barrel character, then a warm, spicy, woody finish with a touch of bitterness. The fresh, grassy cane base still shows through, especially on the nose, like cane leaves in the wind. A distinctive, easy-drinking agricole where the whisky cask is the talking point, best sipped neat to follow the interplay.
