Distilled on the estate's Forsyths double retort pot still and matured ten years in the tropics in ex-bourbon wood, it shows ripe banana, pineapple, walnut and warm baking spice over toasted barrel notes, the heat and humidity having concentrated the spirit and deepened the oak. Bottled unsweetened at cask strength, it lands in a sweet spot between power, balance and clarity, a calmer, nutty fruity Jamaican that still carries genuine depth for the engaged drinker.
