Samaroli, the storied Italian bottler founded by Silvano Samaroli in 1968 bottled this 20 Year Old as a Speyside blended malt, a 1995 vintage marriage of Speyside malts in ex-Bourbon, a release of 448 bottles.

By twenty years the grassy, floral make had turned oxidative, esters and acetals lending baked apple and an oilier, waxy depth beneath the vanilla.

At 45% it shows light orchard fruit and vanilla over a delicate Speyside body. A Samaroli blended malt 20.
