van Wees, a Netherlands independent, is known for its Ultimate single casks. Filled in 2008 and bottled in 2015, the whisky is a 6 year old Linkwood, from cask 800001, from The Ultimate range.
A bourbon barrel and six years settle Linkwood's clear-wort delicacy.
Bottled at 46%, vanilla and a gentle oak sweetness from the bourbon cask. It carries plastic, a waxy note, a solvent note.
