Linkwood 25 Years Old 1992 Cask #14862/14863 (Ian Macleod)

Ian Macleod Distillers, the family firm behind Glengoyne and Tamdhu, bottles single casks under its Chieftain's and Dun Bheagan labels. This 25 year old Linkwood, from cask 14862/14863, was distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2018, part of the Dun Bheagan series.

Aged twenty-five years in ex-Bourbon, the oak lifts the refined, floral character.

Bottled undiluted at 50.9%, vanilla rises from the ex-Bourbon over the orchard fruit. Green apple, hay and a soft vanilla sweetness carry it.
