This Special Cask Series release is Worthy Park's own 10 Year Old from 2010, finished in Madeira casks. As a single estate, 100% pot still rum it carries the distillery's clean, precise house signature, here taken in a fruitier, wine influenced direction.

Worthy Park's moderate, fermentation driven esters give a fruity rather than solventy base, and the Madeira shapes it toward red berries, sour cherry and apple, with vanilla, peppery spice and young oak behind. Tannins and a touch of red wine carry through a woody finish. Bottled unsweetened at 45%, it stays dry and structured rather than turning into a sweet wine finish novelty, suiting slow sipping more than mixing for drinkers curious about cask experiments on a clean Jamaican.
