Velier Port Mourant PM 1993

A Port Mourant from Velier, distilled in 1993 and bottled at a formidable 65%. The double wooden pot still of greenheart timber is the icon of Guyana, and this is that still captured at full strength by the house that made old Demerara collectible.

The spirit is huge and woody, with intense timber, licorice, black tea, coffee and dried fruit, plus the vegetal and floral lift that marks classic PM. Port-cask matured and bottled unsweetened at full proof, it carries its strength with the balance and length these old Veliers are known for.
