Description
Part of the Les Rhums de Ced range, this Banane cacao arrangé starts with a Martinique rhum agricole, fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice distilled on a column still, then macerates banana and cocoa into the spirit. The pairing is a familiar dessert combination, and the rum leans into it fully.
Ripe banana and dark cocoa lead the aromatics and follow straight onto the palate, joined by a broader tropical-fruit sweetness. At 32% it is low in strength and soft in body, with genuine sweetness rather than a dry finish, placing it as an after-dinner or dessert pour. The agricole foundation gives a faint green lift beneath the banana and chocolate, but this is a flavoured rum at heart and is best enjoyed as one, chilled or over ice.
