Distilled from molasses on the pot still and matured in ex-bourbon oak in Europe, the continental years build roasted wood without losing the fruit. The aroma is banana, vanilla, pear and oak, the palate keeps the banana and vanilla with a warm, woody character, and the finish turns to oak, roasted notes, pineapple and vanilla. It is dry, peppery and long lasting, with grilled pineapple, unripe banana and herbs threading through gentle Jamaican funk.
