Señorío Mezcal Joven

Señorio Mezcal Joven is a traditional agave spirit from Oaxaca made entirely from Espadin, the cultivated Agave angustifolia that forms the backbone of the category. It is produced around Tlacolula de Matamoros in the central valleys, the classic balanced and approachable heart of Oaxacan mezcal. Twice distilled and bottled joven, it is a clear, agave-forward style meant to show the plant rather than the barrel.

The profile balances soft smoke against fresh green character. The nose is bright with zesty citrus, green olive and a gentle wood smoke, while the palate carries a mild agave sweetness, floral and herbal notes and a soft, earthy finish. At 40% it is an easy, classic central-valleys Espadin, a fair introduction to what unaged Oaxacan mezcal tastes like.
