Matured in ex-bourbon oak and bottled at 55%, it carries the full Caroni signature: tar, rubber and mechanical, machine shop notes wound through dried fruit, raisin, liquorice and caramel, with smoke and noble wood on a long finish. The profile is unmistakably dirty and industrial, yet the strength and the prominent dried fruit sweetness make it unusually approachable.
