Mulata Anejo 15 Anos is a Cuban-style ron built from molasses and distilled on a column still, the clean, light-leaning approach that defines the island's tradition. Carrying fifteen years in ex-bourbon casks, it sits at the older end of the everyday Cuban range while staying true to the soft, approachable house character.

The nose runs to vanilla, raisin, caramel and wood, with a caramelised, lightly chocolatey palate and a finish of tobacco, oak, cocoa and a hint of tropical fruit. It drinks notably dry and light for the style, which makes it a tidy companion to a cigar rather than a sugar-forward dessert pour. At just 38% it is soft and quietly understated, an easy classic-Cuban sipper that also holds up in a long drink, with only the modest strength keeping it from feeling fuller.
