Distilled on a column still from molasses and aged in ex-bourbon oak, it leans heavily on sweetness and tropical fruit. The nose carries tropical and dried fruit with a fruity lift but also a synthetic edge, the palate is sweet with tropical fruit, vanilla and chocolate, and the finish stays sweet with vanilla and wood. Tasters note that it reads as very sweet and at times artificial, settling down if given air.
