Labourdonnais Gentleman 2010 is a cane-juice rum from the Labourdonnais estate in Mauritius, an island making agricole-style rum outside the French AOC. It draws on a 2010 harvest, distilled from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice and aged twelve years in ex-bourbon casks.

Bottled unsweetened at 45%, this is a long-aged tropical rum whose cane character reads as restrained rather than aggressive, the herbal, vegetal side of agricole kept gentle.
