Habitation Velier Worthy Park Forsyths White WPE 2017

This is Habitation Velier's bottling of Worthy Park's WPE mark, the distillery's extra high ester recipe, distilled in 2017 on the estate's modern Forsyths pot still. As a Pure Single Jamaican white it is 100% pot still from a single distillery, the kind of transparent, full proof release Habitation Velier built its reputation on.

Worthy Park draws its esters from long fermentation alone rather than dunder or muck, so the funk here is clean and precise rather than the heaviest Jamaica offers, but at WPE level it still hits hard. Expect overripe banana, tropical fruit and a solvent, varnish edge over salty olive brine and a herbal, faintly metallic finish, unsweetened and undiluted at 57%. It works neat in small pours with a few drops of water, but its natural home is a high impact Daiquiri.
