Description
Grands Domaines comes from Domaines Francis Abécassis in France and is built on a strict organic discipline: purely organic ingredients, ecological growing, and botanicals drawn from carefully chosen French regions and handled gently to keep their natural flavour. Distillation in traditional copper stills lends the gin a smooth, harmonious structure, with classic juniper, coriander and citrus peel rounded out by finely balanced herbs and spice.
The nose is fresh juniper, fine citrus and a subtle herbal, spicy edge. The palate is soft and balanced at 40%, juniper and lemon to the fore, a light natural sweetness and quiet floral notes filling the centre. The finish is long and dry with gentle spice. Pour it into a gin and tonic with a floral tonic and a sprig of thyme or rosemary, or let it carry a French 75.
