Gentleman's Food Ron Elba Original Dry Golden Rum is a molasses rum distilled on a column still and bottled at 42% by the German brand Gentleman's Food, and notably declared unsweetened, true to its dry billing.

The nose leans sweet smelling despite the dry build, caramel, a toasted note and a distinctive caramelised apple character, with a touch of alcohol showing for the strength. The palate firms up with barrel, oak, caramel and nougat, and the finish carries wood, brown sugar and a fruity edge. Without added sugar to round it off it shows a little more spirit and edge than a sweetened golden rum, staying honest and barrel led.
