Description
Clement VSOP Edition Limitee 2024 comes from the historic Clement estate in Martinique, a 300-year property with a strong reputation for aged rum. Made under the island's AOC, it is distilled from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice on a creole column, with no added sugar.
As a VSOP it carries at least four years in oak, and tropical ageing lends maturity beyond the calendar. Bottled at 40%, it should show the grassy agricole core joined by vanilla, toasted wood and gentle baking spice, dry and balanced rather than sweet. A polished everyday vieux for sipping or stirred drinks.
