Casino Azul Añejo Tequila Jaguar Magnum

Casino Azul Anejo Jaguar Magnum is a 100% agave anejo tequila held in a golden jaguar shaped 1.75 litre bottle, made at the same well known Mexican distillery that produces the skull bottled Padre Azul. The vessel is a clear part of the brand's appeal, but the liquid inside is a soft, smooth anejo aimed squarely at the sipping and gifting market.
Maturation in oak gives the spirit an amber colour and a gentle aromatic spread of oak, vanilla, cooked agave, caramel, orange, dried fruit, whiskey and honey, with the flavours carrying through onto the palate in a rounded, almost whiskey like way. Bottled at 40%, it leans toward the sweeter, oak forward end of the anejo spectrum rather than a sharp agave profile.
