Bud Spencer The Legend Dry Gin

    700 ml / 41.3%
    London Dry

    $51

Juniper front and centre, pine-sharp and unapologetic, with fresh citrus and a soft floral lift trailing behind. Made at Germany’s St. Kilian Distillers as a nod to the cult film hero, it is a dry gin with no frills and plenty of swagger. Honest, straightforward and built to hold its own on ice.

Bud Spencer THE LEGEND Dry Gin is a tribute to the barrel-chested screen icon, distilled in Germany by St. Kilian Distillers, a house better known for its single malt. The brief here is character over cleverness: a clear, classic recipe that puts juniper at the heart of things and lets a handful of citrus peels, herbs and floral botanicals fill out the edges. At 41.3% it carries weight without turning fierce.

The nose opens on distinctive juniper threaded with fresh citrus, light herbal spice and a floral note in the background. The palate is dry and balanced, that pine-forward juniper holding firm against a mild peppery warmth and a clean lemon thread, finishing straight and pleasantly bone-dry. Pour it into a classic gin and tonic with a neutral tonic and a twist of lemon zest, or stir it into a sturdy Negroni.
