Berliner Dry Gin

Berliner Dry Gin is made in the German capital by Schilkin, drawing botanicals from the region and further afield and running them slowly through traditional copper stills for a pure, fine spirit. The build is classic and confident, juniper, coriander, citrus fruits and a hint of floral character, dressed in a clear, elegant structure that aims to put something of the city itself in the bottle.

The nose is intensely juniper-led, with citrus and a fine floral freshness. The palate is balanced, juniper and coriander meeting citrus and a subtle herbal spice that lends an elegant complexity, before a long finish of juniper, light sweetness and fresh citrus. Serve it with a good tonic and a slice of lemon or cucumber, or pair it with smoked fish and a few olives.
