The Atlantic in a bottle: fresh juniper and pine meet a clean saline tang drawn from hand-harvested carrageen seaweed off the Hebridean coast. Citrus and a peppery spice keep it lively, while a mineral, sea-breeze finish lingers. Wild, bracing and unmistakably of its island.

Description
Isle of Barra Distillers make this gin in the Outer Hebrides, on an island defined by its rugged coast and unspoilt weather. The signature comes from carrageen seaweed, hand-harvested straight from Barra's shores, which threads a genuine maritime saltiness through the spirit. Distilled in small batches at 46%, it stays strong and aromatic while keeping its balance, a gin that tastes of where it is from rather than chasing fashion.
The nose is fresh juniper with a maritime edge, citrus and a fine herbal spice. The palate is soft and complex, pine and citrus running alongside peppery warmth and that gentle saltiness. The finish is long, fresh and faintly mineral, a sea breeze that does not quite fade. Pour it into a gin and tonic with good tonic and a twist of lemon, or serve it with oysters and seafood, where the saline note comes into its own.
