Patridom XO Oloroso Cask Finish is a limited Dominican release distilled at Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos and bottled by the Danish house 1423, known for its transparent, detail-led approach to spirits. It is a molasses rum finished in Oloroso sherry casks, the nutty dry-sherry wood shaping the back half of its maturation.
The profile is fresher and livelier than many Dominican rums. The aroma carries freshness, sweetness, cherry and tobacco, the palate turns fresh and oily with a sweet, nutty character from the sherry wood, and the finish is light and soft with sweetness, wood and berry fruit.
