Tambovskaya Osobaya Silver Vodka

Tambovskaya Osobaya draws on a long Eastern European vodka tradition, and today the Silver expression is made at the Rodnik distillery in Lithuania. The recipe blends grain alcohol that has been distilled six times with pure artesian water, then runs it through a careful purification: first charcoal and silver, which pull fusel oils and sharpness, then a four-stage filtration that leaves the spirit crystal-clear. All that polishing is what gives the vodka its smooth, rounded feel rather than the bite you might expect from a straightforward grain spirit.

The nose is lightly herbaceous with a touch of pepper, the palate is sweeter than most, with honey and fresh lemon, and the finish is long and soft.
