Nemiroff Honey Pepper Flavoured Vodka

Nemiroff Honey Pepper is made in Ukraine by LVN, using forest honey and selected peppers, with small pieces of pepper left in the bottle so the spice keeps developing over time. The base vodka is distilled with water from the brand's own artesian springs, then flavoured so the honey's natural sweetness and the pepper's heat balance each other. Bottled at the full 40%, it keeps enough strength to carry both the sweet and the spicy elements without thinning out.

The nose is lightly toasty with a hint of citrus, the palate is sweet with white pepper and honey, and the finish is long and sweet with a savoury, almost squash-like note. The honey-and-heat profile makes it a fine winter sipper, but for a serve, follow the brand's own lead and stir it with cold strawberry juice over ice, finishing with a fresh strawberry. The berry sweetness softens the pepper while the honey ties it together.
