Asbach Coffee + Cream Likörchen

Asbach Coffee and Cream is a German coffee cream liqueur from the Asbach house, bottled at 15% and built on the brand's barrel aged Asbach brandy joined to aromatic coffee and finely balanced cream. The makers describe it as a collaboration between cellar masters and baristas, aiming for a balance of spirit, coffee and creaminess, and the cask aged brandy base lends a subtle wood note that sets it apart from a plain coffee cream. The nose is aromatic coffee with a fine sweetness, creamy notes and a subtle hint of cask, the palate very smooth and creamy with coffee, cream and mild sweetness, finishing round, smooth and pleasantly long over dark chocolate and vanilla. Behind the bar it adds coffee flavour, cream body and gentle sweetness in one pour, which makes it a natural to refine a cappuccino, a latte macchiato or an espresso, and a soft base for a creamy coffee cocktail or dessert serve. Pour it lightly chilled or at room temperature. As a cream liqueur, keep it cool once opened and use it reasonably fresh.
