A nougat liqueur from Ildefonso, an Austrian brand, built around a smooth, creamy nougat character with a subtle nuttiness. It sits in the nut liqueur family, where roasted nut, cocoa, caramel and vanilla typically lead, and the nougat theme gives it a soft confectionery identity. At 15% it lands at the gentle, sweet end of the range, made for dessert and digestif moments rather than hard mixing.

The nose is sweet nougat with a hint of hazelnut and chocolate, the palate full bodied and creamy with a harmonious nougat flavour rounded by nuts, caramel and a delicate vanilla note, finishing smooth with a sweet nuttiness that lingers. In a drink it adds nutty sweetness, body and a soft cocoa edge, so it enriches a nutty Alexander, a dessert Espresso Martini or a nougat White Russian. Served neat or with a drop of ice water its velvety texture comes forward, and it pairs naturally with desserts and espresso. Serve chilled or over ice to firm the texture.
