Baumann HexenFeuer Kräuter-Feuerlikör comes from Tiroler Kräuterdestillerie Baumann, an Austrian herb distillery in the Tyrol that has made regional spirit specialities for over a hundred years. As across the range, it relies on Tyrolean mountain spring water, sun ripened fruit and hand picked herbs gathered by local mountain farmers, with the recipe held private. This expression is the house herbal fire liqueur, marked out by a clear rosemary note within its botanical blend and poured at a strong 50% ABV.

The nose is pleasantly sweet and slightly tart with herbal notes, the palate sweetish, slightly tart and full of fresh herbs, and the finish long, fine and warming. Rosemary leads a base of mint, anise, wormwood and gentian, giving an aromatic, savoury edge unusual in a fire liqueur. Behind the bar it brings herb lift, gentle sweetness and warmth, useful as a chilled herbal shot, a savoury accent in a stirred drink, or a rosemary note alongside citrus and gin.
