Description
Limoncetta di Sorrento is Lucano's limoncello, made from the prized IGP lemons of the Sorrento peninsula, whose thick, fragrant peel is macerated in spirit for its essential oils before sweetening. It is bottled at 30%, a bright, soft textured take on the southern Italian classic.
The nose is fresh and invigorating with intense lemon peel and a hint of herbs, the palate fruity and sweet with a light acidity and a full lemon aroma. As a bar ingredient it delivers concentrated Sorrento lemon and sweetness: take it ice cold and neat as a digestivo, lengthen it into a Limoncello Spritz, or add it to a lemon drop or a sour. It also pairs naturally with sorbet and lemon desserts.
