Flor de Cana Coco Liqueur is a coconut liqueur from Nicaragua, made by the Flor de Cana rum house, whose distillery sits at the foot of the San Cristobal volcano and works to sustainable, fair trade certified standards. Bottled at 17%, it captures the essence of ripe coconut on a smooth base, drawing on the house background in rum for its rounded character. The fresh coconut is the defining note, set against a creamy texture with a light thread of oak and vanilla.

The nose is a fresh coconut aroma, the palate fresh and sweet with ripe coconut over a creamy base, finishing long and creamy. Behind the bar it brings coconut flavour, sweetness and a soft body, which makes it a natural in a pina colada, a coconut daiquiri or any tropical serve looking for a coconut lift. It pours best well chilled to show the fresh fruit, lengthens with pineapple into a long drink, and works neat over ice. Serve it cold for a tropical pour, or build it into a coconut forward cocktail.
