O'Donnell Moonshine Sticky Toffee is a flavoured moonshine style liqueur from O'Donnell Moonshine, a German brand that builds clear grain spirit into a wide range of fruit, dessert and herbal flavours and bottles them in its signature mason jars, a nod to the bootleggers of the American Prohibition era. This expression is modelled on the British sticky toffee pudding, leading with intense caramel and a creamy depth, bottled at 25%. The dessert reference sets its place on a menu firmly after the meal.
The nose is toffee, caramel and brown sugar, the palate full bodied, sweet and creamy with pronounced caramel and butterscotch, finishing long, soft and sweet with a toffee aftertaste. Behind the bar it works as a caramel dessert sweetener, adding toffee flavour, sweetness and a creamy body, which makes it a natural over vanilla ice cream or pudding and a quick caramel note in a dessert cocktail or a creamy after dinner serve.
