Tatratea is a Slovak tea liqueur range from the Tatra mountains, black tea plus mountain herbs sold across a strength ladder. The Milk and Tea edition sits at the very bottom of that ladder at 17%, the creamy outlier in the range, built on black tea extract, selected herbs and spices and a finely balanced milk component. It keeps the Tatra tea tradition but turns it toward a soft, milky character closer to a milk tea than to the high strength herbal expressions.

The nose is aromatic black tea with milk, vanilla and subtle spice. The palate is creamy and smooth with tea, mild sweetness, vanilla and gentle spice, the finish medium long, smooth and harmonious with lingering tea. The low strength and creamy body make it the most gentle and dessert friendly entry, easy to pour and to balance. It adds creamy body, vanilla sweetness and a tea backbone to a drink, suiting dessert cocktails, an addition to coffee, or a simple chilled serve. It pairs well with tiramisu, rice pudding and cinnamon pastries. Serve chilled or on ice.
