Description
This Tequila 30-30 Reserva Especial tasting set gathers Blanco, Reposado and Añejo in three 50 ml miniatures, a tidy way to walk the maturation ladder of one highland house. The brand belongs to AgroIndustria, founded in 1994, which grows its own agave on estate fields in the highlands of Jalisco and distills at its Capilla de Guadalupe facility. The line is named after the Winchester 30-30 rifle tied to Mexican revolutionary lore.
The agave is cooked in autoclaves and distilled only twice, a choice the producer makes to leave plenty of agave character in the spirit rather than stripping it toward neutrality. Everything is bottled at a steady 40% and stated as verified additive free. Across the set the blanco shows clean cooked agave and citrus, the reposado adds light vanilla and honey from short oak rest, and the añejo brings deeper vanilla, caramel and toasted oak as the wood takes a fuller role.
